Synopsis: Across thirteen stories, I Keep Thinking About How Everyone Gets Home examines the small absurdities and enormous consequences of being human. By turns irreverent, unsettling, romantic, and heartbreaking, these are stories about people trying to find their way toward one another, away from one another, and occasionally back to themselves.
A happily married man spends his hangover imagining how easily he could destroy his life. A mother attempts to survive her daughter's wedding without a drink. A woman rediscovers desire after divorce but struggles to let herself be seen. Two married men fall in love without quite knowing what to call it. A grieving couple disagrees over the proper way to mourn their cat. And a seemingly happy man constructs his entire social life around the possibility of glimpsing his ex-lover through a window.
